  • Fiber drop installation — Dedicated line from the nearest distribution point or splitter directly to the residence.
  • ONT installation — Optical Network Terminal mounted inside or outside, converting optical signals for routers and devices.
  • Router & Wi-Fi setup — Connecting the ONT to a compatible router for wired and wireless coverage throughout the home.
  • Testing & activation — Signal strength, bandwidth, and service quality verified before account activation.
  • Customer education — Guidance on router use, Wi-Fi, and basic troubleshooting at every install.

HFC drop & activation
Hybrid fiber-coax, residential
  • Drop installation — Running or replacing the coax drop from the tap (pole or pedestal) to the customer's home.
  • Grounding & bonding — Ensuring coax drop and demarcation point meet electrical safety standards.
  • NID installation — Network Interface Device placed at the demarcation point where the provider's coax enters the home.
  • Modem installation & activation — DOCSIS cable modem or gateway setup and provisioning on the network.
  • In-home wiring — Running or repairing coax lines inside the home to reach the modem location.
  • Signal testing & balancing — Downstream/upstream power levels, SNR, and return path quality verified at close-out.
  • Wi-Fi/router setup — Connecting the modem to a router or gateway and configuring Wi-Fi for the customer.
  • Customer education — Basic guidance on using the modem, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting.

  • OTDR certification — Full optical time-domain reflectometer testing and documentation on every run.
