Drop installation — Running or replacing the coax drop from the tap (pole or pedestal) to the customer's home.

NID installation — Network Interface Device placed at the demarcation point where the provider's coax enters the home.
Modem installation & activation — DOCSIS cable modem or gateway setup and provisioning on the network.
In-home wiring — Running or repairing coax lines inside the home to reach the modem location.
Signal testing & balancing — Downstream/upstream power levels, SNR, and return path quality verified at close-out.
Wi-Fi/router setup — Connecting the modem to a router or gateway and configuring Wi-Fi for the customer.
